Lit Ladies

An Original Series by Goodly Creatures Theatre

Sponsored by the Blue Box Cafe, we are thrilled to offer this monthly series, inspired by the lives and works of history's most trail-blazing women authors!

Not-your-mother's bio series, we go in depth into the scuttlebutt, the lovers, and the flaws that made these women human, and which arguably make their work and success all the more admirable and inspiring!

  • Join us before the show to purchase food and drinks for the performance!

  • There are two shows per night. One at 8pm and one at 9:30pm.

  • Tickets are a $10 suggested donation online, or any amount that you can contribute at the door!

Nevermore

An Adaptation by Katrina Syrris

A thrilling adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's poetic works that tells the story of modern lives ravaged by loss, who seek security and family in the criminal underbelly of society. Using Poe's own life struggles and unabridged poetic works, these poems are brought off the dusty shelves and resurrected on stage in this one-of-a-kind piece.

Ghosts of Christmas Past (or, Dickens, Capra, & Seuss Walk into a Bar)

By Katrina Syrris

Hindsight is 20/20! In this parody of the age-old Christmas classics we know and love, three of our most prized Christmas creatives duke it out for who left the best legacy. Hot buttered rum and other spirits are imbibed and one question remains: When will they get kicked out of Martini's Bar?
