SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

TWELFTH NIGHT

"If music be the food of love, play on!"

Twelfth Night is Shakespeare's beloved romantic comedy that tells the story of Viola who, after a shipwreck separates her from her twin brother, Sebastian, finds herself in a foreign land. To survive, she disguises herself as a young steward named Cesario. While serving Duke Orsino, who is in love with Lady Olivia, Olivia falls for Viola in disguise! A comic cast of characters with their own agendas and machinations make for a hilarious and heartfelt performance for audiences of all ages!

ARTIST EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP

Join us at Schaumburg Library's Hoffman Estates Branch for an opportunity to explore the personal and professional challenges that arise in the life of the artist. Whether full-time or hobbyist, artists experience universal hills and valleys of the creative process, dealing with the pressure of comparison, rejection, life balance and self-promotion, to name a few. In this workshop, we'll discuss creative blocks, what causes them and how to overcome them.
