SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

TWELFTH NIGHT

"If music be the food of love, play on!"

Twelfth Night is Shakespeare's beloved romantic comedy that tells the story of Viola who, after a shipwreck separates her from her twin brother, Sebastian, finds herself in a foreign land. To survive, she disguises herself as a young steward named Cesario. While serving Duke Orsino, who is in love with Lady Olivia, Olivia falls for Viola in disguise! A comic cast of characters with their own agendas and machinations make for a hilarious and heartfelt performance for audiences of all ages!

ARTIST EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP

Join us at Schaumburg Library's Hoffman Estates Branch for an opportunity to explore the personal and professional challenges that arise in the life of the artist. In this workshop, Katrina Syrris is back to lead us in a group discussion on facing our fears as artists. The workshop will focus on discussing the role of fear in artistic works, how we can transform fear into creation, and how we can stop letting fear hold us back from our artistic pursuits.
